So, here’s everything we expect to be announced at Google I/O 2019: 7 Announcements Expected at Google I/O 2019 1. Pixel 3a/ 3a XL Google’s hardware plans aren’t heading in the direction the company expected it to, with Pixel 3 sales not even matching up to the Pixel 2, so it now plans to recapture the market with the launch of the much-rumored Pixel 3a. Samsung Galaxy Fold: Hands on, they are breaking!!!

Image
Samsung launched the Galaxy Fold in February this year to huge fanfare, and rightly so. It was one of the first folding phones ever, and it was way better than any that came before it. So when Samsung sent out review units of the Galaxy Fold to a bunch of outlets and reviewers a couple of days back, what everyone expected was reviews raving about the Galaxy Fold and the fact that we can fold displays now like it’s no big deal.(incl. me) Turns out, it is   a big deal, because most of the reviewers that got the phone, found out that the display is really finicky on the phones. Some reviewers, including Marques Brownlee (MKBHD on YouTube), reported that the displays on their review units cracked, blacked out, and basically did things displays aren’t supposed to be doing. droid life That’s not all, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, and Todd Haselton from CNBC also reported on their review units showing glaring issues in the display. Take a look at what’s been happening: MKBHD o...

Image
Imagine a phone with all that a Pixel 3XL has with a better camera and better battery life ?  mkbhd The P30 Pro addresses the few downsides of Huawei’s already excellent Mate 20 Pro from last year, and it adds a sophisticated new camera system that promises up to 10x lossless zoom.   Huawei is omitting an earpiece on the P30 Pro, making innovative use of electromagnetic levitation to vibrate the top of the screen to generate call audio. That means there are no stereo speakers on this phone, and there are also more discreet phone calls because call sound will only propagate in one direction.    Ok, before getting lost in all of the details about Huawei’s new quad-camera system, it’s worth quickly noting the salient specs of the P30 Pro. This new phone is built around the 7nm  Kirin 980  processor that Huawei designs itself, which I really liked in the  Mate 20 Pro  and the  Honor View 20  (you can check out my article on...
