Samsung M40 : It's Indeed OMG!!!

Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy M40 today. It would be the fourth smartphone launching under Galaxy M-series. Samsung has confirmed some features of Galaxy M40 like an Infinity-O display, a triple camera setup, and a Snapdragon 6 series SoC.

 Ok, lets get it off the way, the Galaxy M40 price in India has been set at just Rs 19,990. This phone is offered with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will be available in two colours - Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue.

Speaking about the display, the M40 comes with a futuristic infinity O display which looks super cool. The M40 is the first infinity O display phone to come at this price range. The screen is an immersive 6.3" FHD+Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 480 nits with a 1200:1 contrast ratio.

 The Galaxy M40 uses an on-board sound technology.  With the Galaxy M40, Samsung has removed the 3.5mm headphone jack as well, but the company is bundling Type-C earphones with the box. The smartphone measures 7.9mm and weighs 168 grams with gorilla glass 3.

 Speaking of the camera which is very important the phone comes with a triple camera setup which includes a 32-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture for clear and sharp pictures, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera with a 123-degree FoV, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera sitting under the punch-hole cutout is a 16-megapixel sensor. The M40 offers 4k recording , slow mo video and hyperlapse.

The Galaxy M40 runs on Android Pie with One UI on top. One UI brings features like system-wide Night Mode, brand new UI designed for easier one-handed use and new app icons, among other things. The Galaxy M40 supports Dolby Atmos via earphones and comes with a low SAR value of 0.200 W/kg.

 The handset houses a 3,500mAh battery and supports 15W type-C fast charging.

 The Galaxy M40 is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The phone is offered with 128GB of internal storage and supports storage expandability via a hybrid SIM/microSD slot (up to 512GB). The Galaxy M40 also gets Widevine L1 certification to stream content on platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime in true 1080p resolution. Samsung claims M40 to be an entertainment power house.
