Huawei P30 Pro : Is this the new camera king?

Image
Imagine a phone with all that a Pixel 3XL has with a better camera and better battery life ?  mkbhd The P30 Pro addresses the few downsides of Huawei’s already excellent Mate 20 Pro from last year, and it adds a sophisticated new camera system that promises up to 10x lossless zoom.   Huawei is omitting an earpiece on the P30 Pro, making innovative use of electromagnetic levitation to vibrate the top of the screen to generate call audio. That means there are no stereo speakers on this phone, and there are also more discreet phone calls because call sound will only propagate in one direction.    Ok, before getting lost in all of the details about Huawei’s new quad-camera system, it’s worth quickly noting the salient specs of the P30 Pro. This new phone is built around the 7nm  Kirin 980  processor that Huawei designs itself, which I really liked in the  Mate 20 Pro  and the  Honor View 20  (you can check out my article on...

The SHOWDOWN : Galaxy Fold vs Huawei Mate X

Image
The future of smartphones...Is it the folding phones ? During the MWC'19 Samsung and Huawei came up with their new folding phones. We saw other companies come up with folding phones during CES'19, but they weren't impressive. Most of us were not happy with the design, but these 2 could change your mind...  Smartphones have grown steadily bigger over the years as screens have increased in size and manufacturers have tried to balance thing s by shrinking down   bezels  so that our devices are still manageable.  Samsung Fold  Samsung has also put in a huge 12GB of RAM, which seems excessive until you consider that the Samsung Galaxy Fold has two screens to transition between and enough screen space for you to use three apps simultaneously, as it showed in the demo. Huawei has gone with 8GB of RAM in the Mate X, which will likely be plenty. Both have 512GB of storage, but only the Huawei Mate X has a MicroSD card slot for expansion. The desi...
